The steps end directly into the drywall giving a modern minimalist look while on the open side the end grain of the treads and risers give a somewhat ribbon/waterfall look. Solid flat cut white oak treads and risers with concealed wall stringer and painted open stringer.

The round hand rail allows for a somewhat more smooth flowing railing without the need for specific goosenecks and easements. 2 1/4" diameter hand rail with 9/16" diameter metal balusters and 1 1/2" diameter metal posts.
